Delivery Driver
Role Description:
- Loading parcels into van at the start of the day, stepping in and out of the vehicle safely
- Following pre-planned delivery route to a mixture of residential and commercial addresses
- Ensuring every parcel is delivered accurately and efficiently when possible
- Providing great customer service to parcel recipients and being the face of our brand
- Taking care of your assigned van to avoid any damages
The Ideal Candidate:
- Can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work effectively both on your own and in a team
- Ability to operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Genuine passion for customer service and doing a job right
- Good level of fitness
- Willing to go the extra mile for yourself and your team
Essential Requirements:
- Register as self-employed (this can be done for you if required)
- Able to work at least 1 weekend and bank holidays
- Minimum 1 Year driving experience, preferably multi-drop experience
- Must be 21 years or above
- Full UK or Euro driving licence with no more than 6 Points (No DR, DG, TT or IN related endorsements)
- All drivers are subject to a DBS and a drug and alcohol test (paid for by the company)
- Able to commute to and from delivery station in Melton area (HU14 3HB)
- This is a physically demanding role; candidates must be able to load and deliver high volumes of parcels daily
We are offering:
- Job Types: Full-time or Part-time
- Compensation - £116 per day plus a daily bonus (Weekly Rate based on 5/6 shifts £580/£696 per week + VAT)
- Guaranteed 5 days a week, 6 days available (including weekends)
- Hours: 18 - 54 per week
